10. Acura ILX Videos for Social Media

Taking raw footage, I was tasked with putting together three videos presenting the different aspects of the new 2016 Acura ILX. Initially, the concept was a very drab and conventional walk-around video. However, I decided to try to come up with something more exciting: editing the footage, designing the motion text pieces, selecting the music, etc. in a way that communicated more emotion. The quick montage at the end of each video was something I was enthused about; it was something I believe evoked the ILX’s marketing tagline "Catch it if You Can." Having grown up in the import street racing culture, and being cognizant of Acura's current perception as a more “pedestrian” vehicle, I was looking to target the performance/racing audience. This final montage was met with great reception, garnering the enthusiastic approval of Acura's Senior Vice President and General Manager Michael Accavitti, and, later, helped inform some of Acura’s television spots.
